César was called to the bar in 2020 after obtaining his Juris Doctor from the Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia. During law school, César volunteered with the Law Students’ Legal Advice Program, where he advised and represented clients on civil and criminal matters. He also taught high school students about tort law and criminal law as a member of the Legal Education Outreach Program. During his second year, César participated in the Innocence Project, providing in-depth analyses of, and research on, claims of wrongful convictions.
César practices exclusively in the area of family law. Prior to joining Cruickshank & Company in April 2021, César worked at a boutique family law firm in Vancouver. He has represented clients in Provincial and Supreme Court, and has advanced his clients’ interests in matters involving child support, spousal support, parenting arrangements, property division, and relocation.
César is fluent in Spanish. He is currently a member in good standing of the Law Society of British Columbia and the Canadian Bar Association.
When not in the office or at the gym, César enjoys long runs with his German Shepherd, Bailey.
